Take a New England fall foliage tour while riding a vintage train he historic rails. Vintage trains offer a glimpse into the romantic era of rail travel when trains were the most sophisticated mode of transportation available. Conway Scenic Railway
- Fall Color Tours White Mountains. Conway Scenic Railway takes passengers of a fall color tour through the White Mountains for the brightest show on earth. New England foliage puts on one of natures most colorful displays from September to October. Passengers take a nostalgic ride from the Notch Train that travels through Crawford Notch. The tour for North Conway/Fabyan Station is a five and one half hour round trip that runs daily until October 5. The North Conway/Crawford Depot is a five hour round trip excursion that runs daily from October 6 - 17. Fare Adult $49 - $66. Child (4-12) $32-$42, Under 4 $12-$32.
- Pumpkin Patch Express Conway Scenic Railroad. Travel to the Pumpkin Patch by train where each child selects a Halloween pumpkin. The family gets to visit a cider mill at White Mountain Cider Company in Glen. Join the fun! Halloween costumes are encouraged. October 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26.
- Armed Forces Appreciation Day at Conway Scenic Railroad honors Veterans who have served their country. Vets who present proof of service ride free in Coach. November 9.
- Santa's Holiday Express. This delightful trip delights children with a visit Santa Claus. Santa greets each child on board and presents them with a special treat. November 28-30, December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21.

Hobo Railway Lincoln
The Hobo Winnipewsaukee Railroad has been running New England Fall Foliage Tours for 20 years and are experienced at taking care of the details for an enjoyable days adventure.
- New England Foliage in the White Mountains is a colorful feast for the eyes. The Hobo Railroad runs daily from Lincoln NH through October 19 at 11 am and 1 pm. Scenic foliage abounds along the Pemigewasett River for this 80 minute round trip. Order the Hobo Lunch to enjoy on the train. Coaches are heats, There is not a restroom on board, but there is one at the station. Tickets: Adults $12, Children $9, Under 3 free.
- The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad operates their tour from Meredith or Weirs Beach on weekends through October 19. Ride the vintage train on a shelf that was dug out 100 years ago for the fast Montreal trains. Passengers enjoy views of Lake Winnepesaukee, along with snacks or lunch for the famous Hobo Picnic Lunch, which are available for purchase. Adults $13, Child $10, Under 3 Free.
- Scenic Foliage Dinner Trains from Meredith. Saturday night dinner trains run through October 18 at 5 pm. Passengers enjoy th fall foliage along the shoreline of the lake while dining on a delicious turkey dinner. Reservations required. Adults $31.95, Child $22.95. 1-603-279-5253.
- Meredith to Livermore Falls. Trains from Meredith take a four hour tour with great views of rocky gorges and falls. Round trip tickets include a hot buffet at the Common Man Inn. September 28, October 5, 11, 12, 13, 18. 11 am. Tickets $49 Adult, $25 Child.
- Santa Trains on the Ho-Ho-Hobo Santa Express. This family fun adventure has been delighting kids of all ages wince 1987. Santa and Mrs Claus will be on hand for a ride of one hour and twenty minutes. The daylight ride travels along the Pemigewassett River form Hobo Junction o Lincoln to Woodstock. Santa visits each child on the Santa Train and has a free gift for each child. Free hot chocolate and cookies for everyone on board. November 28 & 29 at 11 am and 1 pm. December 6, 7, 13& 14 at 1 pm. Tickets are $15 per person. Under age 2 ride free. Two hours from Boston Route 93.
