The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train ill travel through the Midwestern United States, bringing festive Christmas entertainment to Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and into Saskatchewan. As the decorated train powers through the midwestern countryside it brings brightness and merriment. At stops along the way the railcar opens and entertainers put on a festive holiday show.
Donations Benefit Food Pantries
Donations are collected at the stops on the route for local food pantries. Food and money that are collected benefit local food pantries. Bring along donations that will be collected ant donated to the local food pantries in communities that the train stops in.
Entertainment at CP Stops
Featured entertainers on the CP Holiday Train include Shaun Verreault and Melanie Doane. Shaun Verreault is a blues rocker singer/guitarist and songwriter for Canadian Live famovirtes Wide Mouth Mason. Melanie Doane is a Canadian songstress. The Holiday Train Producer is Randall Prescott. The entertainers put on a holiday show at each stop along the route.
The atmosphere at the stops along the way is festive. People gather in groups for the entertainment or just to see the decorated train. Photographers take advantage of an unusual photo opportunity.
